But when it comes to the NC, to me it's the difference having them filtered away enough, or have the feeling to hear them just to loud (so being irritated by them when listening to soft music). And, no, I don't expect them to totally fade away.

For the QC35II this means that while the 4.5.2 update did reduce a bit the noise cancellation performance of our unit but less than we had initially reported. Update : We've re-tested the noise isolation of the Bose QC35 II and the Bose Noise Cancelling Headphones 700 after noticing a flaw in our testing methodology for both headsets.
